RenewalRequired -- Passed exams do not expire. Once qualified as CGMA, annual CPD is required to maintain membership. Annual subscription fee required to maintain active CIMA/CGMA status.
PrerequisitesMust complete CIMA Certificate level (BA1–BA4) or hold an approved exemption
Retake PolicyMaximum 3 attempts per exam per year for Objective Tests (on-demand). Case Study exams: limited to sitting windows (Feb/May/Aug/Nov); maximum 3 attempts per exam per year. Full exam fee required for each retake.
