ID RequirementsValid government-issued photo ID required. CIPS membership number required for exam booking. Name must match CIPS registration.

RenewalRequired -- CIPS membership requires annual renewal. MCIPS and FCIPS members must demonstrate ongoing CPD each year to maintain their designation. CIPS requires a minimum of 30 CPD hours per year for practising members.

PrerequisitesCIPS Level 4 Diploma or equivalent professional experience. Graduate entry may allow direct entry at Level 5. (recommended)

Retake PolicyCandidates who fail may re-sit at the next available sitting. Full exam fee required for each resit attempt. No limit on the number of attempts.
