ID RequirementsTwo forms of ID required: one government-issued photo ID (passport, driver's license) and one secondary ID. Name must match registration exactly.

RenewalNot required -- The CMT designation does not expire once all three levels are passed and the designation is awarded. However, annual CMT Association membership dues are required to maintain good standing and use the CMT designation. Continuing education may be encouraged but is not formally required for renewal.

PrerequisitesPassing CMT Level I and CMT Association membership (recommended)

Retake PolicyCandidates may attempt each exam level twice per year (once per exam window). Full exam fee ($650) is required for each attempt. There is no limit on total lifetime attempts.
