ID RequirementsValid government-issued photo ID. ICAEW student registration number required for booking. Name must match ICAEW registration.
RenewalNot required -- ACA qualification does not expire. ICAEW members must complete a minimum of 40 CPD hours per year to maintain membership and practising certificate. Ongoing CPD is mandatory for practising members.
PrerequisitesAll three ACA Professional Level papers (CR, BPT, SBM) must be passed before attempting the Advanced Level.
Retake PolicyExams are offered in March/June/September/December windows. Students may attempt each paper multiple times; full fee required for each attempt. No maximum attempt limit, but progress reviews apply under training contract rules.
