RenewalRequired -- Earn CPE (Continuing Professional Education) credits and pay Annual Maintenance Fee (AMF). AMF is $125/year. CPE credits through education, contributions to the field, or unique work experience.

Prerequisites5 years of cumulative paid work experience in IT, including 3 years in information security and 1 year in one of the 6 CCSP CBK domains

Retake Policy30-day waiting period after first failed attempt. 90-day waiting period after second failed attempt. Maximum 3 attempts in a 12-month period. Full exam fee required for each retake.
