ITIL 4 Foundation retires on December 31, 2027
PeopleCert plans to sunset all ITIL 4 modules, ITIL 4 Foundation included, on 31 December 2027 (ITIL FAQ: 'The current plan is to sunset all ITIL 4 modules on 31 December 2027.'). The Foundation module of the successor scheme is ITIL Foundation (Version 5) ('the new Foundation module'); ITIL 4 Foundation holders need not retake it to progress, and may take the optional one-day ITIL Foundation Bridge (Version 5) (itself scheduled to retire 31 December 2027).
